Dental Implants

Dental implants

Have you lost any teeth? Are you looking for the best return on investment when it comes to dental rehabilitation? Then you should think about getting tooth implants. Implants are the best way to replace a lost tooth or teeth, no matter how many are missing.

How do implants work?
Dental implants today are made to look and feel just like real teeth. Each implant works like a tooth root and is compatible with the body. When it’s in your mouth, it’s strong enough to hold a tooth filling on its own. When used in pairs or with multiple implants, we can also use them to hold bigger replacements like dental bridges and dentures in place.

At Glenmore Park Dental Services, we treat patients without surgery and put in implants right away. This kind of treatment hurts our patients less and is kinder to them.

Why modern implants are good
When you get dental implants, you get new teeth for the rest of your life. Most healthy people who take good care of their implant can expect it to last for the rest of their lives. This is something that no other repair can do! Also, they are:

More durable than real teeth
Known for having a high chance of success (over 98%)
Easy to take care of; just brush and clean as usual
More comfy than a device that can be taken off
able to work with the normal moves of biting and chewing
Who Should Get a Dental Implant?
Before we even think about giving you dental implants, we’ll need to do a full check to see if you’re a good candidate. Please let us know if you take medicines like blood thinners or bisphosphonates. Other health problems, like diabetes, a recent surgery, or heart disease, will also have to be thought about.

Most importantly, we’ll have to make sure you have enough good bone to support your new tooth implants. We’ll take a number of X-rays to check the mass of your jaw and see where your teeth are missing. In some cases, the process will not work unless bone grafts or other treatments are used.
